Data Debrief: Marco makes his mark

Asensio was once from Europe's most promoted young people, although a series of injuries may have prevented him from realizing his full potential.

The 29-year-old, however, has a lot of quality in his locker, and although his equalizer was a matter of in the right place at the right time, and then his winner with a bit of luck, he is now up and runs in villa. This was his fifth bracket in Europe's top five competitions, although the first time he scored twice in a match since he scored a hat trick in Real Madrid's 3-1 victory over Mallorca in September 2021.

Rashford has set up both goals, which means that he was directly involved in six goals (four goals, two assists) in nine Premier League matches against Chelsea.

Only against Arsenal (eight) does he have more goals and helps with the competition.

Villa has won 18 points this season of losing positions in the Premier League, more than any other team, while 13 of the 15 points Chelsea have fallen from winning positions in 2024-25 since Boxing Day 2024-Meer than any other side.
