Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the rest of Ineos are “sick” to hear about the glorious past and recent fall in Manchester United.
And some within the Hierarchy of United believe that the recent struggles are falling to the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who remained at the club as an ambassador after he withdrew from the Dugout in 2013.
According to The Mirror, minority shareholder Ratcliffe, 72, and director of Sport Sir Dave Brailsford “want to do absolutely nothing to do with the past” and hear about how Man used Utd in the past.
Brailsford is of the opinion that the performance of the past weigh heavily on how the Red Devils are now doing the business to reduce the glory years.
So much so that it has become an “obsession” and not to mention the period in which Man Utd was one of the best teams in the world.
In fact, some influential figures at Old Trafford even find that Ferguson is to blame for the deterioration of Manchester Giants in the last 12 years.
Fergie won 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two Champions League trophies during a stunning 27-year-old government that ended in 2013.
But club heads feel that the presence of Sir Alex did not allow the club to embrace developments in coaching and scouting.
The multi-million pound contract of the Scottish legend was terminated in October by the new regime, dedicated to reducing the costs in the midst of high losses.
Sunsport revealed another wild round of dismissals is imminent.
Employees have been called up for a meeting that will take place in Old Trafford on Monday.
They expect to hear that more jobs will be cut.
That is only seven months after Ineos fired 250 employees at United.
