AC Milan coach Sergio Concukicao understood the frustration of the fans after Saturday's defeat against Torino, while he hit the “casual mistakes” of his team.
Milan has endured a frustrating Serie A-defeat as an early own goal of Malick Thiaw and a missed punishment from Christian Pulisic contributed to a 2-1 loss.
The traveling fans expressed their disappointment after a challenging week, so Milan also left the Champions League, with various banners and hymns that encouraged the team to improve their performance.
“They are absolutely right to do this. It is up to us that we come here and do not win, so there are of course higher expectations. We are not satisfied if there is criticism of the directors, players or staff. We are Milan and we Take the criticism together, “Conceicao said reporters.
“Torino was 1-0 up during the break without a single shot on goal, while we missed a penalty and various other opportunities.
“Things happen and we have to be stronger when we respond to them. I realize that it is not easy for the players when the best player of Torino was their goalkeeper and we had 30 attempts.
“I'm sorry for the fans who were present for these last few games.
“The last 12-15 goals we have admitted were almost all casual mistakes. It's not about strategy or formations, these are things that I often wonder how they are even possible.”

The former porto boss risked some anger of the traveling fans when he replaced Rafael Leao during the break.
Leao had difficulty making an impact in the first half, with only 29 touches and only one shot.
“Rafa was not at his best, there are other players and they are all important,” explains Conukicao.
“I still say that we should not concentrate on substitutions or formations when admitting two ridiculous goals such as that, as someone would suffer in those circumstances.”
Milan has lost four of their last five road races (W1) in all games – two in Serie A and two in Champions League – just as much as they members in all their previous 12 away games that were played this season (W6, D2).
