Telasco Segovia took a final Gasp 2-2 draw for 10-man Inter Miami against New York City FC in their MLS-Serrensens opener in Chase Park.
Miami stared over the barrel of a defeat of the opening day despite dominating a large part of the competition before he finally got a 100-minute equalizer.
The hosts had started well, with Tomas Aviles who tapped in the cross of Lionel Messi, only five minutes after the Argentinian NYCFC caught with a smart corner routine.
In the 23rd minute, however, Aviles received his mars orders. He brought Alonso Martinez on the edge of the 18-Yard Box and denied him a chance of goal, which resulted in a straight red card.
It then only took three minutes before NYCFC the level of Mitja Ilenic Latching on a short free kick in a low equalizer.
Jordi Alba's Slack Pass Pass deep in his own half -gifted NYCFC early in the second half, with Martinez winding on the loose ball before he slid it past Oscar Ustari in the distant pole.
Both parties wasted the chances in the last phases, but the replacements of Javier Mascherano paid dividends deep in the second half of the stop time, while Messi played a Ballet in Segovia, who crumbled with an excellent finish.

Data Debrief: Patience pays off
Mascherano could not get his MLS career off the ground with a victory, but at least Miami is on the board for the season.
Despite playing more than an hour with 10 men (including more than 20 minutes of stopping time in both halves), Miami had more and better opportunities.
They collected 2.55 expected goals (XG) from their 14 attempts, compared to NYCFCs 0.96 of nine shots, although the visitors were more clinical.
Miami has only won one of their 12 all time meetings with NYCFC (D4 L7); Each of their last four meetings has now ended in stalemate.
