Mohamed Salah operates “on a different world” than his competitors, says Andy Robertson, after the Liverpool attacker inspired his side beyond Manchester City.
Salah scored one and helped the other goal for Dominik Szoboszlai when the leaders of Arne Slot won a 2-0 win over the city on Sunday and clearly move 11 points at the Premier League summit.
The Egypt attacker has contributed to 41 goals in the Premier League this campaign (25 goals, 16 assists).
That makes him the first player in the history of the competition to contribute to 40+ goals in two different seasons, after he had done this in 2017-18 (42), and Robertson praised his teammate.
“I can't talk about him to be honest! No, he has been incredible,” Robertson told BBC Match of the day.
“A set piece of routine worked, which is pleasant. Everyone had a role to play and Mo got the glory to place it in the back of the net. Another goal and assisting.
“His working speed in the other way was incredible today, he and Lucho [Diaz] And that was the key to us to keep a clean leaf.
“He is now in a different world and plays out of his skin. We are very happy to have him, that's for sure.”
Salah has now scored both a goal and helped in 11 (!) Various Premier League matches this season.

Andy Cole and Alan Shearer share the record for the most target involvement in one Premier League season, the former managing 47 in the 1993-94 campaign before Shearer corresponded to the next period.
Erling Haaland (44 in 2022-23), Thierry Henry (also 44 in 2002-03) and Luis Suarez (43 in 2013-14) are the only other players who have ever managed more than Salah's Exploits in this season and 2017-18 .
Salah himself would pass his own record on Wednesday with two targeted involvement against Newcastle United, and Jamie Carragher believes that heaven is the limit for the Liverpool star with nine competition matches.
“This will eventually be the biggest season we have ever seen from a person for Mo Salah, I don't doubt that,” said former Liverpool captain Carragher on Sky Sports.
“It is not as if he ends up above those players [former great strikers] In terms of numbers, but it's a matter of how far. Perhaps he sets the bar so high that nobody can ever come again in the future.
“We have seen him exceptionally for seven or eight seasons, but this year we see something special. This is an all-timer season.”
