Real Sociedad without defensive star for Real Madrid clash

The Moroccan international has been a starting regular for Alguacil after his summer announcement of Premier League Side West Ham United.

He was forced in the first half of the victory against Leganes and reports from Diario, as confirmed that he will miss it against Real Madrid because of a muscular issue.

Jon Martin replaced him in that match and he could be held in the start -line against Real Madrid while Alguacil holds a winning team together.

An absence against Real Madrid is a concern for Alguacil, but he will wait for further updates on how long his defensive star will be out of operation, for an important series of games that Aguerd could now miss.

La Real Head to La Liga leaders Barcelona on 2 March in League Action before the start of their UEFA Europa League campaign in later next month.

The charges of Alguacil are linked to old enemies Manchester United in the first knockout phase of the competition in a third meeting between the teams in the last five seasons.

Both parties won 1-0 away from home in the 2022/23 season, but United hit La Real from the competition in 2020/21.
