Gian Piero Gasperini warned that Atalanta cannot afford any mistakes if they want to catch to catch Inter and Napoli in the Serie A title race.
Atalanta kisses a 5-0 removed victory over relegation-threatened Empoli on Sunday, which moved three points behind Simone Inzaghi's leaders and two Drift from Napoli.
Breaher lookman scored twice in a convincing triumph and marked the perfect reaction to Gasperini's label as “one of the worst penalty makers” after missing a spot kick in Atalanta's Champions League exit to Clubbrugge in Midweek.
Lookman refused to comment when he was investigated whether the feud of the Gasperini was arranged, although the veteran atalanta boss remains focused on a potential title tax.
“First of all, it is about seeing how things unfold week after week. At this point in the season we cannot make mistakes, especially because we are only a bit lagging behind,” he said reporters.
“We are proud of our position and the journey that we have made so far. It can be interpreted in many ways, but I am personally satisfied.”

Club Brugge has dumped Atalanta from Europe with a 5-2 total victory, although Gasperini believes that this can be a disguised blessing and help their chances to win the competition title.
“We hope that we are sorry that we are not flexible for a few weeks in the Champions League, are useful, and some players have to restore their energy, hoping for a strong finish,” added he is ready.
Gasperini suggested on Saturday that he could consider extending his contract until 2026, but refused to comment on the decision.
“I am no longer in this subject; I have been pretty clear,” he added.
“We have 12 games to play, and we have to concentrate on that. All the other, whether before or after, nothing changes.”
