Magomed Ankalaev sends chilling warning message to Alex Pereira ahead of UFC 313

Alex Pereira is now only a few weeks after his first title defense of 2025, hoping to replicate his fortunes from 2024 that saw him pick up a hunter of the year.

During 2024, Alex Pereira defended his title Most of each champion in the UFC, stabbed three victories and became the biggest star of the promotion in the process.

On UFC 313 on March 8, 'Patan' will do the most difficult test of his MMA career to date on a storage when he collides with Magomed Ankalaev.

Prior to his fight, Pereira received criticism from Daniel Cormier while he took the time from his Vechtkamp to travel to Australia to Sean Strickland for his middleweight title fight against Dricus du Plessis.

Magomed Ankalaev sends Warning after Pereira Training Video

After he has proven that he is 'DC' that he is still in a training camp and not only completes side-quests, the 37-year-old Brazilian champion shared a video of him and his head coach, Glover Teixeira drill-replacement defenses outside in the snow.

Ankalaev is generally considered as the most difficult test of Pereira so far because of his struggling power and tendency to control fights with his cage pressure.

However, Ankalaev has claimed that he will surpass Pereira, and declares that the battle of the Brazilian is overestimated, which leads to questions about whether he will even use his wrestling benefit.

In response to Pereira's training video in the snow, the Russian competition sent a hair -raising warning message to the champion.

“I hope you are ready to do this for 25 minutes,” said Ankalaev on X.

Can Alex Pereira destroy the wrestling of Magomed Ankalaev in UFC 313?

During his UFC official period so far, Pereira has only been removed nine times with Jan Bachowicz as the only hunter he has fought to surpass him.

Although Ankalaev has an extremely solid wrestling base, it is not his bread and butter and it is on average fewer Takedowns per 15 minutes than Bachowicz.

And not only that, but the Russian only has a successful Takedown percentage of 31%, compared to the 50%of Bachowicz.

Pereira has held the pole for most of their 15 -minute fight, and will probably also want his chances of taking Ankalaev.
