‘Who misses me?’… Petr Yan teases return as fighters react to UFC Seattle ending in eye-poke controversy

UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs Song ended in controversy after an accidental eye-poke what a fantastic Bantam weight fight had been to a without mercy.

UFC Seattle was on schedule to potentially be the biggest night of UFC action in the recent memory with no fewer than seven consecutive stops on the Prelims, including highlight-reel knockouts for Jean Silva and Ricky Simon.

Unfortunately, the main map did not succeed in that momentum; With the last three fights of the night ending through the scor cards of the jury members. That includes the main event, that was planned for five rounds, but was canceled after only three.

Song Yadong wins 'technical decision' after Henry loses Cejudo vision

Former double champion Henry Cejudo and Chinese striking song Yadong went back and forth in what a sensational confrontation was of speed and skills for all 15 minutes.

After a low flowers had brought a temporary postponement in the third, there was a more important break in the action when Song accidentally kept an eye on Cejudo; His vast fingers connect at the same time with both eyes.

Although both fans in the arena and the commentators Cageside expected that the fight would take place after Cejudo had used up his five -minute recovery time, the former double champion soon began to complain that his vision had become blurry.

Between the rounds it was decided that Cejudo could not continue – the referee allowed the fourth round to start before he called the time, and because more than half of the planned rounds were completed, we went to the jury's score.

Song runs away with the profit of the technical decision, although it is safe to say that nobody is happy with the result.

Great drama in Seattle.

Henry Cejudo could not see Por after that eye.

The fight could have stopped there and were called a NO competition.

The referee started the 4th round for one second to consider it a scoreable fight.

Jason 'Mayhem' Miller just called it the “weirdest night ever” and he is certainly not wrong there with post-Vecht pushing competitions and one-punch knockouts that dominate the headlines.

Both Cejudo and Song stated that they would throw in an immediate rematch, but we will have to wait and see which direction the UFC will take these two Bantamweight candidates afterwards.
