Galatasaray says they are planning to bring his criminal procedures about “racist statements” by Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho towards Turkish people.
The Super Ligtitel Rivals drew 0-0 on Monday evening after the tensions had risen over the referee agreement before the game with the Slovenian official Slavko Vincic prepared by the Turkish football federation.
Mourinho had welcomed the decision to use the referee who organized the final of last season's Champions League after several recent controversies in Turkish football.
After the game, Mourinho made comments about the behavior of the Galatasaray bank.
Mourinho also praised the performance of Vincic and said it would have been a “disaster” if the match had been referred to by a Turkish officer.
A statement from Galatasaray was: “Since the start of his management tasks in Turkey, Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has constantly issued derogatory statements that are aimed at the Turkish people. Nowadays his discourse has been escalated further than just immoral comments about immoral comments in human inhumanee Rhetoric.
“We formally declare our intention to initiate criminal proceedings with regard to the racist statements of Jose Mourinho, and will be subject to official complaints to UEFA and FIFA. Moreover, we will diligently hold it by Fenerbahce – an institute that turns out to be apparent are moral values for the copy – in response to the reprehensible behavior that is shown by their manager. “
Mourinho said in his press conference after the game: “After the game I went to the referee's dressing room. The fourth official was – a Turkish referee – I told him that if you were the referee, it would be a disaster.
“If they are [Galatasaray] Really very good. If they want to be an example of 'we are good, we are strong, we are the champions, we want to show how good we are', they have to ask every match for foreign referees.
“But when the referees are foreign, UEFA Cup – go home, against us at home – one shot on goal. But if they are good and they really believe in themselves and in their might, they have to ask the federation.
“We thank the referee because after the big dive in the first minute and their couch stands on top of the child, with a Turkish referee, the child would have a yellow card after a minute and after five minutes I should change. Fortunately it was one Perfect experience for him “
Vincic showed seven yellow cards during the game and had to temporarily suspend the game after torches were thrown in the stands.
