The Brazilian icon goes north for a new collision against a competition that is by his side by his side at 135 pounds.
On UFC 301 in May last year, Jose Aldo returned to the Octagon and delivered a statement performance against Jonathan Martinez after two years.
The legendary former Feeder Wain champion could not maintain this momentum, because Aldo suffered a controversial loss for Mario Bautista last October.
Now the 'King of Rio' is back and this time he goes to Canada to hire another ranked competition in the Bantam weight division.

Jose Aldo stands for Aiemann Zahabi on UFC 315 in Montreal
Before his third fight since he returned to the UFC last year, Jose Aldo will try to bounce back into the win column when he is able to see in-form-media Aiemann Zahabi.
Benoit Beaudoin was the first to report Vechtnieuws via X, which confirmed a new large matchup for the Bell Center.
The Canadian is the younger brother of the legendary MMA coach Firas Zahabi who was in the corner during his career for the Great Georges St-Pierre.
Now that Zahabi also trains from Tristar Gym and 'GSP' as his role model, he will now try to achieve the biggest victory of his UFC career so far.
The 37-year-old debuted in the Octagon in 2017 with a victory over Reginaldo Vieira, but was losing back-to-back.
Since then he has reversed his fortune with five straight victories, including recent victories over Javid Basharat and Pedro Munhoz, so he earned the #13 ranking.
He will certainly have the Canadian fans behind him in Montreal on May 10, but you can also not underestimate the love and worship that Vecht fans have for Aldo.
This fight has major implications for Jose Aldo
The commitment is clear to Aiemann Zahabi in this fight, while he wants to expand his winning series by adding a huge name to his record.
For Jose Aldo, his UFC return was difficult to judge so far after he had seen him hire two newer additions to the top of the Bantamweight department.
His performance at UFC 301 was electric, but lately against Bautista, it was a frustrating watch, regardless of who you blame.
If Aldo gets his hand in Montreal, we could still see him assume the best that the division of 135 pounds has to offer, but a loss can open that for the debate.
