After the recent news of the withdrawal of Dan Hooker from UFC 313, Arman Tsarukyan has his own back on the lightweight competition.

In just over a week than Hooker was planned to take on Justin Gaethje on UFC 313, in what would be guaranteed to be a battle of the year.

Unfortunately, Hooker revealed earlier this week that a hand injury closed him out of the Co-Main event, leaving Gaethje without an opponent.

Although the event is a little more than a week, the promotion plan to keep 'the peak' on the map, where various lightweight contenders have put their names in the hat to fight in the short term.

Arman Tsarukyan fires Jab Dan Hooker Na UFC 313 withdrawal

The lightweight division is in a strange position near the top, where there is no clear competition that follows the title defense of Islam Makhachev on UFC 311.

Makhachev was originally planned to finally defend his title against Arman Tsarukyan, but Tsarukyan withdrew one day before the fight because of a back injury.

UFC Baas, Dana White, further revealed that Tsarukyan will not get any other title shot, so that the top of the division will remain open for a new competition to earn a shot.

After 'Ahalkalakets' withdrew from the UFC 311 Main Event, Hooker went to Tsarukyan and wondered how he was injured a day before the greatest fight of his career, so that the Tsarukyan families were well documented.

'The Hangman's' comments apparently brought a feud and with the kiwi who has now withdrawn from his fight, Tsarukyan got his own back on Hooker.

“Karma doesn't miss. Big mouth, glass hands – maybe just talking instead of fighting, “Tsarukyan said on X.
