Sarina Wiegman said that England cannot be dragged after their victory of the Nations League over the Spain World Champions, and challenges the lion ribbons to reach a different level.
The 33rd minutes of Jess Park ensured that England got a degree of revenge for their 2023 World Cup defeat against La Roja, to four points of two games in group A3.
Spain started it stronger of the two parties, but England soon struggled in the Wembley Stadium, with park that bounced on the efforts of Alessia Russo.
Lucia Garcia hit the bar early, while Salma Paralluelo had the chances of equalizing in the second half, but England held.
The Lionesses came in on Wednesday's game and only won two of their last six games and produced a boring display on Friday in a 1-1 draw with Portugal in their Nations League opener.
But just as Wiegman did not get too low during that run, she will not get too high after the victory of this statement.
“Of course it helps. Wining always helps,” Wiegman told ITV Sport when asked if the victory would increase the confidence of England.
“We also know where we want to go, where we are and what we are working on.
“If we win, it is not always that all things are good, and if we don't win, it is not always that everything is bad. We just want to improve every day.
“There were many improvements. The best was the solidarity and the fight we put in. The next time we are going to play Belgium, it will be a different game, but we want to take it to the next level.”

Manchester City Winger Park was asked if her goal was the biggest of her career and responded: “Probably!
“It was a brilliant feeling and I don't think there is such a thing, so I'm really happy with that. I don't think I'll ever forget it.”
Park was not part of the Euro 2022-winning team of England or the group that finished second in the World Cup the following year, but after an impressive season in the Super League for women, she hopes to be involved in Euro 2025 in Switzerland.
“I keep working hard in my club, I will continue to do what I am trying to do on the field, and I will give everything to be there,” Park said.
In the meantime, Spain -coach Montse Tome complained the bad finish of her team when she said: “We started the game very well, played at a good pace.
“We have not succeeded in scoring and we will not get points tonight. We had opportunities that we simply did not take. That is an area that we have to improve and we will improve.
“England could have scored more. England scored their goal, we didn't do that, and we just have to keep improving for the next game.”
