Sorrentino: If AC Milan must sell Maignan they should target Italian replacement

It emerged this week that Milan was willing to sell the goalkeeper of France this summer – for the right price. Lille keeper Lucas Chevalier is mentioned as a potential replacement.

But Sorrentino told the YouTube channel of Carlo Pellegatti: “I don't know Chevalier so well, but he is strong.

“Personally, I would not change Maignan: if a huge offer arrived, I would concentrate more on an Italian keeper.

“I know it (Cagliari keeper Elijah) Caprile whole, very good, he was my third in the last years of my career at Chievo, and he is the goalkeeper of the future.”
