Amorim plans Garnacho discussions

Ruben Amorim confirmed that he will speak with Alejandro Garnacho after the attacker of Manchester United stormed the tunnel after he had picked up against the city of Ipswich.

Garnacho did not last the first half on his return to the start XI of United, where Amorim finished the Argentinian after Patrick Dogu received a straight red card in Old Trafford on Wednesday.

While he recognized Amorim briefly after he had been replaced by Noussair Mazraoui, Garnacho then went directly to the touchline to the dressing room.

After trying Garnacho's behavior in the press conference after the game, Amorim eventually acknowledged that he would speak with the young person.

“I'm going to talk clearly with Garnacho about that,” said Amorim. “So I will talk about that if you want in the next press conference.”

Garnacho's relationship with Amorim is one of them since he was dropped for their 2-1 win over Manchester City in December alongside Marcus Rashford.

While Garnacho succeeded in fighting his way back in the fold, Rashford later left on loan to Aston Villa in the winter transfer window.

When Garnacho was pressed, Garnacho ran straight along the touchline, Amorim said: “You make a connection with Rashford, right?

“It was cold and wet, maybe it was thinking that we would play more in the 5-3-1. I know that is a risk because you take one, the only player who has one at one pace but I felt that the team was good in checking the game, almost rest, then you make the replacement.

“We have to choose someone to go out, we also have to think about set pieces, so it was Garnacho.”

United is opposed to Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round in their next outing, while the victory over Ipswich took them in 14th in the Premier League.
