Paddy Pimblett reveals that he’s scheduled his UFC 314 travel plans around Liverpool FC

'The Baddy' has the biggest fight of his career on April 12, but his flight to Miami has to be pushed back for a few days.

On UFC 314, Paddy Pimblett will come across on Michael Chandler in a blockbuster Co-Main event where he will expand his UFC-winning series to seven.

The 30-year-old is degraded for his largest test to date, with Chandler also having something to prove against Pimblett in this crucial lightweight collision.

Although fighting is how the rising star deserves its living, it does not always have priority over the beloved Liverpool Football Club of the scouser.

Pimblett dreams of fighting in their stadium, Anfield, but he will continue to support the Reds of the stands until the day he will be the one who will never run a Singalong of “you will never walk alone”.

Paddy Pimblett is changing his travel plans to meet the Merseyside Derby

After he was present on Wednesday evening for Liverpool's 2-0 win over Newcastle, Paddy Pimblett spoke about his plans for UFC 314 in Miami.

'The Baddy' usually likes almost two weeks to acclimatize when he fights abroad because he will be in the Kaseya Center on 12 April.

However, on this occasion he makes an exception because of a competition that means more than others for fans of Liverpool.

LFC is currently at the top of the Premier League table with no less than 13 points, but despite this wide gap between them and the 2nd place Arsenal, 2 April is not a game that every fan can miss.

With only Stanley Park to separate the two clubs, Liverpool's bitter rivals Everton will make the trip to Anfield in a few weeks for a collision between two clubs on the other side of the table.

Pimblett told TNT Sports that he is willing to reduce his time in Miami to be in the stands for the latest episode of “The Merseyside Derby”.

“No, I normally go at 12 or 14 days earlier, but it is on April 12 and Liverpool play Everton on the Wednesday before, April 2, so I'm going to fly the next day. I have to be in Anfield, see how the Reds beat the blues. Yes, I can't wait for that. ”

A victory over UFC 314 will push Paddy Pimblett to title conflicts

If Paddy Pimblett Michael Chandler can beat on April 12, the FC team of Liverpool is not the only ones with titles in their sights.

'The Baddy' is currently the #12-ranked competition in the lightweight division, but getting his hand against the #7-ranged Chandler will considerably increase his status.

Because Pimblett is a big star for the promotion, he can only be two victories removed from earning his first UFC title.

That process could even be accelerated because of the feud of Pimblett with Ilia Topuria if 'El Matador' is able to find success in 155 pounds after moving to the division.
