Justin Gaethje insists that he did not try to blast the lightweight division with his viral social media post.
'The highlight' was left without an opponent when Hooker then withdrew from their UFC 313 fight on Tuesday.
About 24 hours later, Rafael Fiziev came in to rematch the hard -handy American in Las Vegas.
However, it seemed that Justin Gaethje would have preferred to see one of the other 155LB contenders when he went to social media to name five hunters that he claimed said 'no' to see him on a 10 -day notification.

Justin Gaethje knew the air
Gaethje went to X – formerly known as Twitter – apparently the light weights that refused the fight.
Arman [Tsarukyan] and Charles [Oliveira] Understandably, no. Maximum [Holloway] and Dustin [Poirier] Understandably, no. [Renato] Moicano received the call and said no, “tweeted the former interim -ufc champion on Wednesday evening.
He added: “Rekwisites to Fiziev for volunteer work to fly over the world and to fight this fight. Great risk here for me to take this rematch against an elite striker. Life is a journey. Best Live Show on Earth on March 8 #UFC313 ”
Arman Tsaryukan was the first UFC star who denied a short-notice fight with Gaethje to reject Gaethje, but he admitted that he had asked the match for a catch weight before Fiziev agreed to make 156LBS.
Dustin Poirier also hit Gaethje because he suggested that he shoved away from a short-notice trilogy fight.
“I never received the call, I didn't say no,” he wrote in response to the viral social media message from Gaethje.
Poirier added: “I am the one who had contacted them when I read the news. Ask Hunter [Campbell]. All respect for you and Fiziev, I'm looking forward to it again. “
Gathje has since insisted that he was not going to accuse the five hunters he called to dive.
“I just ran back the crazy 48 hours that I went through,” he tweeted in response to Poirier. “I tried not to imply that someone of you would not fight against me. Arman was too heavy, the same with Charles. UFC clearly has plans for you at a later time, so they said that is a no -go. “

Justin Gaethje Eyes Islam Makhachev Vecht
A victory for Gaethje at UFC 313 could put him in line for a chance of lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
The Pound-for-Pound number one achieved a quick entry victory over Renato Moicano on UFC 311 in January.
There is currently no obvious challenger, but Gaethje hopes to make it clear at UFC 313.
The 36-year-old recently appointed the teammate of Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, as his heaviest opponent after he was stitched unconscious by 'The Eagle' when they fought at UFC 254 in October 2020.
Yet he wants his chances against the current 155LB king, which also seems enthusiastic about the matchup.
“I think Khabib was probably [was toughest]”Said Gaethje. “Even if I performed better, I am not sure if I could have beaten him that night. So that night, when I fought against Khabib, he was so far one of the most difficult opponents.
“I want to fight against Makhachev. . . . I really believe that is a better matchup for me than Khabib, “
