Justin Gaethje issues epic response as clip of unaired aftermath of Max Holloway KO goes viral

Justin Gaethje is known as one of the most exciting hunters in sports history, making a great risk and great reward.

Justin Gaethje loves the Octagon since his UFC 300 loss against Max Holloway last April, in which Gaethje was eliminated in the last second of the fight.

Gaethje finally returns to action on March 8 at UFC 313 to compete against Rafael Fiziev in what is guaranteed to be a war of a rematch.

Originally 'The Highlight' was planned to take on colleague All-Action Lightweight, than Hooker, but Hooker withdrew a little more than a week because of a hand injury.

In anticipation of his fight against Fiziev on UFC 313, Gaethje admitted that he thinks he has been 'too safe' in his recent fights and will drop that style while looking at still claiming a lightweight title shot.

Despite the recognition of Gaethje, he is generally considered one of the most exciting hunters that the sport has ever seen and is consistently involved in classical fights.

And his UFC 300 struggle against 'Blessed' Holloway was a perfect example of that. After an incredible five rounds of action, their fight 2024 battle of the year was awarded, but it was one to forget for the 36-year-old.

The Arizonan was eliminated quite brutally in the last second of the fight, left down on the canvas, completely unconscious.

Fortunately, the cameras cut away at the time and Holloway followed for his party celebrations. Since then, however, the images have come to the fore on the canvas, shaking while he is unconscious.

“Great memory of what is at stake. Live die at the sword at the sword. It is all I know, “Gaethje gave the images.

A fan also commented on Holloway's feast and claimed that if it was the other way around, Gaethje might not have celebrated that much.

“I tried to do exactly the same thing. I may have left it behind. There is no control over the sudden flow of emotions, “Gaethje replied respectfully.

Can Justin Gaethje earn a title shot with a victory over UFC 313?

Although he has been involved in several extremely incriminating fights, 'the highlight' is still hopeful to go on a run that eventually sees him win the lightweight title.

The top of the 155LB division is currently in a relatively strange place as number one and two arranged, Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira, probably not the next chance of Islam Makhachev.

That leaves the door wide open for the former interim champion, and to help his business even further, Makhachev recently stated that he wants to fight against Gaethje.
