Nottingham Forest -Baas Nuno Espirito Santo hopes that Thuisvoordeel will help his team to wear the line when they are confronted against Ipswich on Monday evening in the last band of the FA Cup Fifth Round.
Forest has made the city a fort and has not been lost there since a 3-1 defeat against Newcastle in November.
The Premier League high-flyers last reached the quarterfinals in 2022 and lost 1-0 at home in Liverpool, and Espirito Santo has encouraged upcoming fans to play their part against top-flight wrestlers Ipswich.
He said: 'Based on what we feel at home, you can see the players perform and feel comfortable on the city.
'There are moments without the ball and you can suddenly see that the crowd is screaming and that gives energy to the place.
'You see the change of rhythm on the runs of the players, so it's great. I am positive in the city area that we have always been able to do well. '
Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna says that the game is 'Welcome Distraction' from the fight of his team to prevent an immediate return to the championship.
He said: 'It was a nice change of focus, really a change of everything. A change in story about the games.
'The few earlier rounds have been a nice break of the competition. Because it is a Monday evening, the next league match will be a bit faster. '
