PSG’s Luis Campos met with Lens’ Abdukodir Khusanov’s entourage

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain sports advisor Luís Campos has met with the entourage of RC Lens central defender Abdukodir Khusanov (20). The current leader is looking for reinforcement in the center of the defense and Campos appreciates Khusanov's profile.

Khusanov has excelled at Lens since joining Lens from Belarusian side FC Energetik-BGU Minsk in the 2023 summer transfer window for a fee of €100,000. In his first full season at Lens, the Uzbek international slowly settled into the team. This summer he found himself in the position to take over from Kevin Danso (26), whose move to AS Roma unexpectedly failed.

Foot Mercato writes that Lens hopes to recoup around €40 million in the coming transfer window to compensate for the failed transfer of Danso and also that of Neil El Aynaoui to AS Monaco (23). Although Khusanov is currently considered untransferable by Lens, PSG could test Les Sang et Or's commitment to a player estimated to be worth around €20 million.
