UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad admits that the upcoming Leon Edwards vs. Sean Brady Fight is on his tracking list.
Former UFC title holder Leon Edwards and rising competitions Sean Brady will collide on March 22 with a no. 1 candidate place on the line in UFC London. Weeks later Belal Muhammad will make his first UFC Welterweight defense against Jack della Maddalena, who was originally planned to switch Edwards opposite an opponent by the matchmakers.
Edwards, who returns to the Octagon after losing the belt at Muhammad on UFC 304, will have been participating in his first UFC Fight Night event since March 2021.
Muhammad could the Edwards vs. Follow Brady winner when he passes Maddalena on UFC 315. While he is preparing for his first welterweight title defense, he has a prominent interest in the main event of March 22.

During a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Muhammad gave his opinion about the upcoming Edwards vs. Brady -Headliner.
“That's a big one, right? That is another name where you are, “he looked good his last two fights,” Muhammad said about Brady. “I think he should go outside and do a performance against Leon, and then we will also see where Leon is because Sean Brady is not an easy task. Muhammad was then asked about the challenge of Edwards that opponents changed just a few weeks before UFC London. The champion believes that Edwards has De Stijl to combat Brady's Elite Grappling Toolbox.
“You just had a whole camp for me, you just fought against Usman, and when you look at Jack, he was a very different style than we are, but it won't be a change for you,” said Muhammad about Edwards. 'Even if you train for Jack, he is a boxer. Brady will have to box to get into you, so your distance control must be good, your hands must be good.
“Then Brady must come to you in the short term, so it will be an interesting fight. I don't think Brady will be able to come up with his Takedowns, “Muhammad continued. “I think Brady shoots a bit like Usman where he reaches, and he doesn't have great setups. And in a larger cage I think Leon will be able to stay and move, kick and move. But I am excited to see it. “

In both cases, Muhammad has elevated goals for the rest of his UFC career after winning his first world title. 2025 could again be a loading year for the Welterweight champion.
