Robert Whittaker thinks that the Main Event of UFC 313 could end very early.
The former UFC champion middleweight will look from home when Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev are confronted on Saturday evening with the light heavyweight gold in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
'Patan' has disabled three opponents to lay themselves at a moving distance from the breaking of a 205LB defense record of Jon Jones.
Magomed Ankalaev has struggling to make Alex Pereira possible on UFC 313 – but Robert Whittaker fears that if the Russian does not use it immediately, he could eventually suffer a quick stop loss.

Robert Whittaker predicts UFC 313 Main Event
Opinions are divided on what is almost certainly the largest UFC fight of the year so far.
However, Whittaker was extremely brave with his prediction for Pereira's collision with Ankalaev.
'The Reaper' believes that Bruce Buffer will say 'and yet!' At the end of the fight, he thinks it could be over very quickly.
“I'm going to go Pereira,” Whittaker said on the Mmarcade podcast.
“Like I said, if Ankalaev is not inside when the first three minutes falls to him, I don't think he will get it from the first round.
'I don't want to stand out with that guy, point out. He touches like a truck. It is very comfortable and confident. So yes, you have to get it on his back in that first round.
“Pereira brings a definitive X element to the game.”
What is the next step for Robert Whittaker?
Whittaker has not fought anymore since Khamzat Chimaev has recorded his teeth with an entry on UFC 308
The 34-year-old recently mentioned Sean Strickland as the ideal opponent for his comeback fight.
Strickland got his nose out when he fell last month in a middleweight title Rematch Defeat against Dricus Du Plessis on UFC 312.
Hopefully he is ready to fight again in June, because Whittaker is planning to return.
“I think Strickland is making a good argument because I have the feeling that we have both been in that top pond for a while to circle each other,” he said on the Paper -Podcast with Anthony Smith.
“For whatever reason, we are not linked, but we have both been in the vicinity for a while.
“It is probably the fight to make, I am enthusiastic about that fight. I look at his style and I find it curious. I find it exciting to try to train. “
“I just worked on some things, worked on some new skills, but I want to come back in June this year. That is when I want to put my hand to fight because it gives me a lot of time to just do what I do, but also in a camp convenience. “
