The legend Rio Ferdinand of Manchester United has returned to Gary Lineker about his “nonsense” claims about the legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Red Devil icon was in a bullish mui after his old party from the FA Cup on penalties to Fulham on weekends.
Big Money signing sessions such as Rasmus Hojlund struggled to impress when the game finished 1-1 after 120 minutes.
And the exit from United means that they only have the Europa League left to play for, while the club is also 14th in the Premier League.
After the defeat against Fulham, BBC-Gastheer Lineker made a bomb commentary that claimed that United's long-standing misery can be traced to the last days of the legendary manager Ferguson.
The Scot lifted its 13th title before retired in 2013 from the beautiful game.
He was replaced by David Moyes, who lasted less than a year before he was fired.
United then went through Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Erik ten Hag, who won no Premier League title between them.
The current boss Ruben Amorim has an even larger puzzle to solve after United had hit a new low point in the table.
And Lineker claimed that Ferguson did not leave the Red Devils in a good place when he stopped 15 years ago.

Lineker said: “If you look at Liverpool now, they have a new manager in Arne Slot and it is proof of how Jurgen Klopp has left the club in a really good condition.
'So the structure is really good. That was probably not the case at the end of Sir Alex Ferguson [time at Old Trafford].
“I know they won the competition that season. But it wasn't their best side, and many of their great players came at the end of their career.
“I think from there that they had problems. The academy did not yield the players they were earlier.”
Now Lineker has come under fire from ex-alternated star Ferdinand for his comments.
The former Center-Back spent 11 seasons under Fergie and won six titles and a Champions League in the process.
And Ferdinand, who left United a year after the exit of Sir Alex in 2014, insists that his old boss is not the fault of current misery.
He argued on social media that Ferguson left a team for successor Moyes with an average age of 26.6 years.
Ferdinand pointed to the mix of youthful and experienced players in the team, especially under the forward line.
And he also made sure that of the 25 players in the team 19 were completely seasonal internationals.
Ferdinand ended by reminding people that Fergie's last title win United saw the top spot with a huge 11 points.
And instead, he believes that recruitment in the Alex phase after the SIR is to blame for United's ruin.
Ferdinand said: “The average age of the team that was Sir Alex on the left was 26.6 years old. Blend of youth + experience.
“Our attacking players were … Rooney (27), RVP (29), Chicharito (25), Welbeck (22), Zaha (20), Nani (26), Ashley Young (27), Lingard (20), Kagawa (24), Valencia (27), Janzajj.
“19 international players. PS We won the competition with 11 points …
“Since then, recruitment has been bad. But I have read in recent days that it is the boss's fault. What a load of nonsense … “
Ferdinand supported his spending claims by unveiling the total net spending on European clubs since the 2014/15 season.
Five of the top six are English parties, with Tottenham (£ 502 million) and Arsenal (£ 784 million) in the mix.
According to Transfermarkt, French giants PSG are fourth with a net spending of £ 795 million.
While Chelsea is fourth with a total worth £ 809 million.
Second place goes to Man City with £ 813 million.
And it is not surprising that the top position is taken by Man United.
But their net expenditure is miles higher than even those of the city, with the figure that a total of £ 1.04 billion.
