The UFC 313 main event between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev may have more than a belt on the line.
UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira is perhaps the most difficult test of his title line against Magomed Ankalaev in the UFC 313 headliner this Saturday. After months of poor blood brewing between the two Juggernuts, Pereira and Ankalaev will support their words with actions and collision in one of the most intriguing stylistic matchups in recent light heavyweight history.
Ankalaev earned the title shot after an undefeated line with 13-Vecht, with recent victories over Johnny Walker and Aleksandar Rakić. In the meantime, Pereira returns to the cage after making a leading business for 'Fighter of the Year' in 2024, with three successful title defenses.
The pre-fight Klets between Pereira and Ankalaev is not short of the goal prior to the UFC 313, and it became even more interesting when Fight Week started in Las Vegas.

Magomed Ankalaev answers Alex Pereira's proposed $ 200k bet for charity
It all started when Pereira presented a UFC 313 bet with Ankalaev on social media for a noble matter.
“Because you are so sure, you will win $ 200,000 for the charity of the winners,” Pereira said for X. “Win or loses this helps people in need. It's in your hands [Magomed]. “
It wasn't long before Ankalaev responded to his X account.
“As a Muslim you know that gambling is forbidden in Islam, and also as Muslim every year I have to give 2.5% of my wealth in charity. This is one of the five pillars of Islam,” Ankalaev said. “Many children around the world are in need and we can do things after the fight, but we don't have to make it known.
“Your manager and my manager have a good relationship and we can let them handle that. See you soon. Ramadan Mubarak. “
Pereira did not respond to Ankalaev's comments, but the two parties will be face to face on Thursday at the UFC 313 Pre-Fight press conference. We could learn by the end of the week whether or not the two light heavyweights will continue with their proposed gamble.
Alex Pereira pursues one of Jon Jones' UFC Records vs. Magomed Ankalaev
In addition to the potential $ 200k bet, Pereira is chasing one of the light heavyweight records of Jon Jones on UFC 313. A victory on Ankalaev would be his fourth title defense in 329 days, 35 days faster than Jones' Four-Defense rule against Quinton 'Dampage' Jackson, and RASPOANTA.
Ankalaev is also coming closer to a separate Jones record on UFC 313. His 13-Vecht undefeated streak is five victories removed from matching Jones' record setting 18-Vecht unbeaten run during his several light heavyweight title.
It doesn't matter who wins on UFC 313, history will come one step closer to the light heavyweight division.
