Cody Gakpo (25) missed the last training session before Liverpool travels to Paris prior to the UEFA Champions League round of tomorrow of 16 first stage against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Dutchman recently struggled with an ankle problem. He was forced with the problem during the Merseyside Derby on 12 February and missed the next two matches of Liverpool. However, he appeared from the bank, first of all against Manchester City and then against Newcastle United.
However, Gakpo was absent in the training on Tuesday, prior to the match against PSG in the Parc des Princes on Wednesday. Nederlands International, however, has made the trip with its teammates, as confirmed by the club. Arne Slot speaks on Tuesday evening at the press conference for the competition in Paris. His comments must shed some light on the issue and give an indication of whether Gakpo can play a role against PSG.
