Bridge recalls shocking moment Sheva KNOCKED OUT his team-mate

Former Chelsea star Wayne Bridge has revealed how two of his former teammates once resolved their differences by fighting each other in training – and it did not end well for one of them.

Bridge spent six years in Chelsea between 2003 and 2009, and won four major trophies, including the Premier League title.

It was a hugely successful period for the blues, but that did not mean that the players always saw face to face.

Bridge has now called back a while in which Andriy Shevchenko and Tal Ben Haim came in an incident that the Israeli defender left those stars after he was on the receiving side of an 'incredible' combination of punches.

Speaking of fights between teammates, Bridge told Joe Cole and Carlton Cole on the podcast of the dressing room: 'The best I've seen was Shevchenko and Tal Ben Haim.

“Tal loved to break people. I think there were a few incidents between them, I think Sheva gave him a warning. You know how Tal is. Then there was still a smash from Tal.

“They both ended up in each other's faces. And the Combo Sheva threw. Incredible. It was something like a puncture, cross, hook, cross. Bang, bang, bang, bang! Play over. It was done size.

'You just continue, it was sorted. Tal just had to swallow a little proudly and continue. And just don't go close to Sheva! '

Former striker Shevchenko arrived in 2006 on Stamford Bridge with a huge reputation after winning the balloon d'Or while playing for AC Milan two years earlier.

He failed to meet expectations when he returned to Milan in 2008 after scoring only 22 goals in 77 performances for Chelsea.

But he left a lasting impression on his teammates in a different way thanks to his fighting skills.

Ben Haim's time in Chelsea was also short -lived, because he only played 23 games in his lonely season after he joined a free transfer in 2007 before moving to Manchester City the following year.
