Jose Mourinho refused to exclude the possibility to manage in Scottish premiership during a press conference prior to the Fenerbahce vs Rangers Europa League -Equisable game.
The triple Premier League winner was asked by reporters about whether he would consider managing in Scotland, in particular Glasgow, with Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers.
The Fenerbahce manager never succeeded in Scotland, but is also in love with the 'passion' in football.
In response to the question, Mourinho soon stated that he is comfortable in a job that motivates him and would not leave the Turkish side now.
He added that the task as a loyalty manager requires, applies to each club, but would consider the opportunity in the future.
“Why not be able to say people in the future,” Mourinho explained, his comments certainly do not close any opportunities.
He added: “I'm not looking for a new job” and emphasized his satisfaction with Fenerbahce with whom he has been for even a full season.
The two -time winner of the Champions League is not unknown with transfer speculation during his term of office at the Turkish side.
In October 2024, Mourinho made a comment about managing a 'bottom of the table' club in England.
He later withdrew his remark as a joke, but fans argue with Mourinho to make a long -awaited return to the Premier League.
In fact, this specific quote has associated him with the Everton lane when the position of Sean Dyche was in danger; The Englishman was later replaced by David Moyes.
However, fans of Celtic and Rangers should certainly not give up the hope of Mourinho's magic in Scotland, because his positive words about Scottish football were encouraging.
“It's a League of Passion. For me it is all [passion]… to play in empty stadiums in a competition where there is not that fire of passion, it makes no sense for me.
“Celtic and Rangers … they are big clubs with large fan basses with large emotions, great responsibilities, great expectations.”
The comments from the 'Special One' were certainly respectful, delicious Scottish football fans.
Mourinho and his side are now focusing their attention on the explosive Europa League -similar play against Rangers on Thursday evening.
It will certainly be an exciting match, because Fenerbahce looks an appearance to expand their unbeaten run of 18 games against an inconsistent Rangers team that recently changed from manager to Barry Ferguson.
