‘Almost dialled 911’… Colby Covington mocked by fans for avoiding UFC gym run-in with rival

Colby Covington was again flamed by the UFC fan base after a close call in the UFC Gym.

It is three months since we last saw Colby Covington in the UFC Octagon, when he took it against Joaquin Buckley in Tampa, Florida.

The former interim champion Welterweight was slaughtered by Buckley who registered the third round finish and handed Covington Back-to-Back Losses.

Since then 'chaos' has been away from action, but has continued with his online presence because he regularly streams on Twitch. His live streams have already caught one uncomfortable interaction he had with Kamaru Usman.

Colby Covington avoids UFC Gym Run-in with Themba Gorimbo

The 37-year-old was prepared by UFC legend, Chael Sonnen to be one of his coaches on the ultimate hunter, while Sonnen competes against Daniel Cormier.

While filming in Vegas for filming, Covington tried to stay in Vecht form by using the facilities of the UFC in the Performance Institute.

However, since various UFC athletes use the facilities, it was almost guaranteed that Covington would come across one of the many hunters with whom he has beef.

Last Tuesday during his live stream Covington closely avoided a run-in with his former teammate who became a rival, Themba Gorimbo.

The two used to perform in the same gym in Florida and Gorimbo, historically speaking of Covington praise to help him. Nevertheless, Gorimbo claimed that the Welterweighter kicked him out of the PI when he was training for his title fight against Leon Edwards.

“Oh, f – that,” Covington said, killing the corner and noted Gorimbo.

'Have you seen who was down there? That thankless mother – – which we used to feed. I think we just have to go – – actually train around him, “Covington said as he kept walking away.

“Almost 911,” a fan noticed.

“LMFAO, Bro can't even walk in a room without scoring it first,” another fan joked.

Afraid of Themba?!?!?

“Why is Colby terrified of Themba as if he was Michael Myers,” a fan asked.

Colby Covington who returns the International Vechtweek

Despite the suffering of back-to-back losses, Covington is still in the top 10 of the 170 pound ranks with different matchups that have been left before him.

Covington has had a well -documented constant feud with Ian Machado Garry, however, that fight did not flourish and the Irishman went against Shavkat Rakhmonov.

After Machado Garry had sustained his first career loss, Covington tried to recalculate the feud, which may hope to be linked to him.

And with that, during his stream, Covington revealed that he would like to return to action on the International Vechtweek for UFC 317.

“I have not planned anything, I coach the ultimate hunter with my buddy, Chael Sonnen, so after the ultimate hunting season, hopefully this summer, maybe this summer, perhaps international fight week,” Covington revealed.
