Dillon Danis had to come through intensive and bizarre negotiations to get his GFL fight with Tony Ferguson over the line.
Former Bellator star Danis faces Ferguson on 11 May in one of the first events under the new Global Fight League. He must first come through the YouTube star KSI, which he will be on a Misfits-Boks-Perview on 29 March and will be forced to make a debilitating weight during the six-week break.
Danis is one of the most division in combat sport and is more known for trolls than he fights. He has only fought once since his last Bellator fight; Against Logan Paul in October 2023, but has now booked two periods in different sports on different dates.

Ferguson left the UFC last year on an eight-fighting streak, with his most recent defeat that came to Michael Chiesa in Abu Dhabi in August. He and Danis are two of the more intriguing names signed at the GFL, with a large number of former UFC champions.
