Giorgi Mamardashvili set on being number one at Liverpool despite Alisson Becker

Valencia breathed a sigh of relief when it happened that instead of going to the Premier League this season, their Georgian Talisman would remain in Mestalla this year. However, they will lose Mhaldashvili this summer and he will not intend to be on the couch next year.

Liverpool agreed in a deal with Valencia to sign the goalkeeper they thought they were their long-term replacement for Alisson Becker, where Valencia received € 30 million for the 24-year-old. Initially it was expected that he would leave Liverpool on loan to join Bournemouth for the coming season, in which Alisson continued this year, but Mamaardashvili chose to stay in Valencia.

Yet the Brazilian has a contract until 2027, and at the age of 32 it shows little signs of delay. Last month Mamardashvili was to be seen that Alisson mentioned as the reason he was not yet on Anfield, but the athletics says that Mamaardashvili sees himself next season as the starter, and while he respects the sitting shot stopper, he will have his position of the off for his position.

Mamaardashvili has been taking English lessons since drawing at Liverpool, and has already looked at the living regulations for his move to Merseyside. It seems to be a difficult decision -making process for Arne Slot and Richard Hughes. For both Alisson and Caoimhin Kelleher, it is their last chance to earn considerable money from a sale without agreeing a contract extension. However, it is not clear whether Liverpool wants to go from Alisson, and if they give him a new deal, this would undoubtedly put Mhaldashvili's nose out of joint.

The Georgian International has had a more discreet season in Valencia this year, while Los Che struggle to defend the previous year, but has shown its quality at both club and international level. However, taking Alisson does not look an easy performance.
