Former Manchester United star Tim Howard has defended the unpopular owners of the club, the Glazer family.
The glazers have fueled countless protests over the years as a result of their stewardship in the club, where most fans criticize how the Red Devils are run.
The Premier League collision against Arsenal, for example, will see the group of 1958 against the glassers for leading united to the edge of 'Financial Armageddon'.
The group urges fans to wear black to symbolize their club 'slowly dying' and to participate in the protest that starts at 3 p.m. in the Tollgate pub and to go to the Talbot Road, Warwick Road and Sir Matt Busby before pausing the Trinity statue and through the tunnel of München.
It comes with the club in the 14th and on course for a historically poor Premier League campaign for one side that has won the trophy more often than any other.
But with many fans who attribute large parts of the debt to their American so-owners, Howard has defended the decisions of the glazers.
“I think they spent money for Man United in certain places, and ultimately the criticism of fans ownership in every club, but at Manchester United it is often one-sided,” said the former USMNT goalkeeper.
'The glazers have the football club, and that is in turn a company. And what I have always said, because I am an owner, when you spend your billions to own a company, you have the right to perform it in any desired way.
'Now, that will ultimately be good or bad things, but you have the right to run the way you want, and together with that comes criticism, but everyone understands that. I think they have published, and you can go one step further and watch other clubs.
'Everton is a mess, and not because they have not spent, but because they have spent a lot of money. In fact, so much even that they received docked points because of PSR, so I think the glassers spend money.
'If you look at the team and the amount of money paid for people like [Jadon] Sancho and [Cristiano] Ronaldo, all these players, money was spent. Is it wise spent? I'm not sure if the glassers make those decisions, so there are other parts of that question that must be answered. '
Between 2003 and 2007, Howard spent four years in the books in Old Trafford and was part of FA Cup and Carabao Cup winning games during that Stint.
The American then joined Everton, where he would become a club legend with 414 games and one remarkable goal.
The Red Devils compete against Arsenal on Sunday at a time when things have rarely been worse on the field.
While the Gunners are without a rush, with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz both for the season, they placed seven past PSV Eindhoven in midweek.
With confidence at a low EB in the interior, there might be more pressure on Thursday at the Europa League collision on Thursday with Real Sociedad, especially with the only real chance of the United competition on continental qualification for the next period.
Just like the Gunners, but for various reasons, United has their own problems in advance, in which both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggle for form.
The Red Devils had promoted Chido Obi to the senior team and handed him his first minutes in recent weeks, although he will not be available for the collision against La Real.
