Arne Slot has unveiled the changes he made during the break to come up with the extraordinary 1-0 victory of Liverpool at PSG.
Liverpool takes a lead back to Anfield after the 87th minute winner of Harvey Elliott, scored 47 seconds after he came up and with their second shot of the game.
PSG peppered Alisson's goal with 27 shots, but could not find a way along the Brazilian, who made nine saves on a night slot greeted him like the best in the world.
Slot has become known for his in-game Tweaks, usually his replacements, but chose to change staff during the break despite PSG dominating.
Instead, he made subtle tweaks on the tactical identity of Liverpool, before his subs made the difference later in half.
“We changed the way we defended a little during the break. We had two ideas about how, “he told TNT Sports in the Parc des Princes.
'In the first half we asked Lucho (Luis Diaz) to press more and second half, he followed (Achraf) Hakimi. We also had two set pieces where we created opportunities. I told you how good they are, but there are more opportunities than you think.
“In the first half we waited for them to score, but the second half were the most shots from a distance.”
Liverpool was lucky to reach the peace with the score still 0-0 after resisting a Parisian storm.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had an amazing goal excluded for a marginal offside and many thought that Ibrahima Konate should have been sent away for a last-man error on Bradley Barcola.
Joao Neves missed a golden opportunity to put the French champions first and to touch the bar with a failed effort after the cross of Ousmane Dembele.
Alisson was later taken into action to deny a long -distance stitch from Kvaratskhelia while the attack continued.
Around the half -hour span, Dembele burst far too easily past Virgl van Dijk, but was rejected by Alisson, with Dominik Szoboszlai threw himself on Barcola's way.
Before the break, Alisson was again needed to deny a red -hot Kvaratskhelia while liding a low ride to the goal.
Things were not much easier after the break, with Alisson forced to save a free kick from Kvaratskhelia that looked destined for the top corner.
The Brazilian had to save another from the Georgian – who was eventually addicted to Goncalo Ramos, Great – and Szoboszlai, Willian Pacho denied an almost -Spost after a corner.
Afterwards a relieved Alisson said: “It was the best performance of my life, I think, he told us how difficult it would be and we had to be ready to suffer.
'You know what comes with the clips, but we work hard, we have given away so many opportunities.
'Some 1V1s, but the majority is that someone makes the player who gets the chance to think more, making it easier for my work. All the efforts that the team makes, it is incredible. '
