Jamie Carragher walked away on a live CBS broadcast after Alisson claimed that he preferred Arsenal -legend Thierry Henry.
The goalkeeper was fresh from the back of a stunning Liverpool performance. His nine Saves helped the Reds a slim 1-0 win in the Parc des Princes in their Champions League collision with Paris Saint-Germain.
And it was no surprise to see him set up for an interview after the game with American Channel CBS. Usually the subject of conversation moved to a more Jokey -horse as soon as the analysis of the game was over – and that is then Alisson put his foot in with Carragher.
Ex-Manchester City-Man Michah Richards asked the Brazilian: “Have you seen our show Alisson? Have you seen the clips online?”
He replied that, while Richards then asked, who was his favorite expert while trying to show off his Portuguese. Alisson replied: “Nice Portuguese by the way, I think I should say that Thierry, legend. When I grew up, I looked a lot of Arsenal in the early 2000s. So it was the only team that could be seen on TV in Brazil.”
And that caused Faux withdrawing from both Richards and Carragher, who rose and ended set while Alisson Henry continued to praise. The first jokes say, “I had had enough of this.”
Carragher's pretending that Fury had come after he had claimed Liverpool's victory in the French capital, was “one of the biggest robberies in football”. But he also suggested that Alisson Liverpool's performance could give the platform to win the competition.
'Did you leave it? That is one of the biggest robberies you will ever see in football, “said Carragher. “I can't believe what I just saw. PSG was absolutely excellent and battered Liverpool.
“The last time Liverpool won this competition, Alisson Becker made a rescue against Napoli in the last group match of the group stage. Liverpool could have taken off if Napoli had scored. That is always returned as a decisive moment.
“That wasn't a save tonight. That was perhaps the biggest performance of his career, especially in a Liverpool shirt.
“And if Liverpool is going to win this competition – which they have a good chance of, they are much better than what we saw tonight – then that performance will be remembered for years.”
