The International Brazil perhaps produced the best performance of his career with nine Saves when Liverpool claimed a Smash and claimed 1-0 win in the Parc des Princes. Alisson was at his best to keep PSG at bay before Harvey Elliott won an 87th minute winner for the Premier League leaders.

Alisson's display was the hot topic of the night and after the game he was interviewed on the American TV channel CBS, by Peter Schmeichel, the Manchester United keeper great.

Richards then investigated weekly and asked in Portuguese for the preferred expert from Alisson. The answer came: “Nice Portuguese by the way, I think I should say Thierry. Legend.

While Henry smiled, Carragher and Richards both shock, before the couple left the set. Off-camera, the voice of Richards could be heard: “I had had enough of this.”

“Have you left it? That is one of the biggest robberies you will ever see in football,” Charragher proclaimed. “I can't believe what I just saw. PSG was absolutely excellent and battered Liverpool.

“The last time Liverpool won this competition, Alisson Becker made a rescue against Napoli in the last group match of the group stage. Liverpool could have been eliminated if Napoli had scored. That is always returned as a crucial moment.

“And if Liverpool is going to win this competition – which they have a good chance of, they are much better than what we saw tonight – then that performance will be remembered for years.”
