Arsenal leading race for Barcelona forward target

Barcelona seems as if they will postpone their hunt for the successor to Robert Lewandowski until next summer, but it can mean that they put together a new list of goals for next summer. The Polish striker will be 37 in August, but with Barcelona without space in their salary limit for a large signature, which means that he trusts on his legs for a different season.

That does not mean that Barcelona has not been linked to various number nones in recent months. The knowledge received is that Alexander Isak from Newcastle United would be their favorite target, while RB Leipzig Benjamin Sesko is another option that attracts them. Another attacker Barcelona has looked, just like many of the European elite, is Viktor Gyokees from CP.

According to the daily briefing, Arsenal is now leading the race for Sesko. It is assumed that he has a verbal agreement with Leipzig who would enable him to leave € 70 million. A move to the Premier League is considered attractive to Sesko, and people like Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also linked to him.

In the meantime, Bayern Munich has Sesko on their shortlist, while Gyokees is also present on that list. Previous reports have raised the same price tag of € 70 million for Gyokeres to be extracted from Lisbon, despite a release clause of € 100 million.

On the other hand, Isak can be expensive for all the lovers in the coming summer. Newcastle is said to set the bar more than € 100 million to let the Swedish striker out the door, although they are not going to be a sale.

It seems that Barcelona Ferran Torres will use as their alternative to Lewandowski – the Valencian wing player has worked there well in recent months and is more than not used there by Hansi Flick.
