Norwich City missed the opportunity to move within a point of the play-off places of the championship after he was held to a 1-1 draw by Oxford United on Friday.
The early goal of Josh Sargent was canceled by Mark Harris, where the Canaryen were unable to find a late winner despite the pressure of the second half.
Both teams made a lightning -fast start of the game, with Ole Romeny who nicked the ball in Norwich's box before he crossed a shot on goal, but Vicente Reyes, in for the wounded Angus Gunn, held it.
Sargent then found the breakthrough only four minutes later. Kellen Fisher held stuck on a brilliant Doormbalkball on the right before he bustled a dangerously low cross in the box, and the American was there to change it past Jamie Cumming.
However, the hosts were caught in the 18th minute by a long throw -in, because the lob of Vaulks was not cleared well, and Harris met the volley sweet on the half corner and shot up close.
Sargent was then refused a second goal shortly before the break. He left too early to meet Borja Sainz's pass and the offside flag went up before the ball nestled in the corner of almost soil.
Norwich urged a winner in the second half, with Fisher saw a shot blocked and apparently brilliantly brilliantly the powerful long -distance strike of Ante Crnac over the bar.
Sainz thought he had scored a winner of the 89th minute after he defeated the offside trap, but Cumming made himself great to stretch and direct the shot with acute-angry wide wide.
Norwich moves to 49 points to 10th and is three points behind West Brom in the sixth. In the meantime, Oxford remained 18th, but is now eight points free from the relegation zone.

Data debrief: Chance will beg
This had the feeling of a must-win game for Norwich prior to the rest of the games of the weekend, but instead they are still on the drift of the top six.
It is even a well -known story for Norwich, who has now dropped 26 points of winning positions this season, most of each team in the championship.
The aim of giving up was avoidable, with two defenders bringing their heads to the long throw of Vaulks before Harris hit it. That was the 28th goal of the first half that Norwich admitted this season, with only Plyryth Argyle (32) and Portsmouth (30) who admit more in the division.
Norwich certainly had their chances, with 15 shots in general (worth 1.51 expected goals), with 10 of those in the second half (four on goal). However, the impressive performance of Cumming, who saw him make five saves, was enough to earn an essential point.
