Vincent Kompany slams Bayern Munich players and admits they’ve left him ‘angry’

Vincent Kompany had his players of Bayern Munich ripped after their collapse against Bochum.

For the first time in 18 years, Bayern, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen all lost on the same day in the Bundesliga. And Bayern's former Burnley -Baas was furious about the way of collapse his party.

Those roots seemed to cruised with Raphael Guerriero who scored twice in the first half hour. Serge Gnabry could have made it 3-0 with a penalty but missed – and that is where things started to go wrong.

Jakov Medic received one for Bochum before Joao Palhinha, the former midfielder of Fulham, was sent before the break. The Portuguese received a red card for a rash challenge on Giorgos Masouras. And Bochum let them pay, with the second half of goals from Ibrahima Sissoko and Matu Bero who handed in 16th place an unexpected victory.

And Kompany, visibly frustrated on full -time.

“Congratulations to Vfl. It's very unpleasant for us,” he said reporters. “We started well, but we can never get a red card. But even with 10 men we have to win this game or at least not lose it. That didn't happen today.

“We are not looking for apologies or apologies, we have lost. We will analyze it and take responsibility for that. It is important that we concentrate on the reaction.

“Even with 10 men we need the ambition to win the game or at least not to lose. We didn't get that. Bochum deserves to feel that they have won, I know how much energy is needed to do that. For us it is now about the next game. “

Kompany also offered his vision on the red card and insisted on it: “It was a red card. It is an unnecessary discussion.

“We have a red card, we have lost. We don't have to talk much. We have lost and we have to respond to the field now. Of course we are angry. The reaction to that is now important.”

Bayern goes to Leverkusen to view the men of Xabi Alonso in the Champions League on Tuesday, with 3-0 from the first stage.
