Fans were not happy to be forced to wait more than an hour from the planned start time for the UFC 313 fighting card to start.
Curtis Blaydes was one of the names that were forced from tonight at the last minute with a disease that is said to be around the UFC Performance Institute. His fight with Rizvan Kuniev was set for the Prelim card, just like a featherweight fight between Chris Gutierrez and John Castaneda.
In view of the fact that fighting takes 15 minutes on prelims and also ring walks, breaks between rounds and interviews after the fight and decisions, they receive a time slot of 30 minutes on the television broadcast. This meant that the show in the Arena had to be pushed back for at least an hour.
UFC 313 delayed after two fights canceled
UFC 313 is split into only ten battles, destroyed the early part of the prelims. The show, which would start the local time in Las Vegas at 3.30 pm, started half an hour late, and there was another 35 minutes of structure before the first fight started.
Eventually Ozzy Diaz and Djorden Santos got the fighting, about an hour and five minutes after the action was planned to get started. Fans were not satisfied with the delay, with the feeling that it is an indication of a general fall of quality.

Another added: “Must start paying back -up fighters up and down these cards. It comes out of hand. “Others felt sorry for British fans, who started around 12:40 pm.
