Inter Milan midfielder Calhanoglu: Winning all that mattered against RB Leipzig

A deflected free kick from Fede Dimarco gave Inter the three points.

“We are happy, it is another great result for us to stay there,” Calhanoglu told Inter TV.

“Maybe we should have scored more goals given everything we created, but in the end, just like against Arsenal, we kept the pace and proved that we are also doing well defensively.

“We created a lot of chances in the first half, but Leipzig are a strong team with a lot of pressure and they caused us more problems after the break, but the result was what mattered tonight.”
