Jon Jones breaks his silence with two word statement after Alex Pereira loses at UFC 313

Jon Jones came out of the woodwork to 'Flex' on his opposition, after Alex Pereira failed his fourth light heavyweight defending against Magomed Ankalaev on UFC 313.

Jones was one of the many names that Pereira would have considered if he had defeated Ankalaev, and now it seems that that fight is far from possible. 'Patan' suffered a faint decision loss for 'Big Ank', and with that any momentum that would have protected him from a UFC -Superge fight.

'Bones' is ready to defend his heavyweight belt against rightful challenger Tom Aspinall. But before he does that, he wants to shine about his performance in the UFC.

'Small Flex' … Jon Jones has about title defense record after Alex Pereira loses title

On Instagram on March 10, Jones shared an image with reading 'more title defenses than any other current male champion combined' with a photo of himself roaring in the Achthoek. In his caption, Jones add a shoulder -decent emoji and followed a comment and said: “Small Flex”.

Jones chose a good time to share this statistics, because three of the eight divisions for men have struck or abandoned champions. He also chooses his light heavyweight championship defense (11) to supplement his heavyweight inheritance.

Moreover, Jones could have had 14 light heavyweight defenses if he had not failed drug tests or left the title due to criminal activities.

Is Jon Jones fighting Tom Aspinall Now that Alex Pereira is being defeated?

With Pereira from view, Jones should fight against Aspinall because of all rights. Aspinall is the only viable heavyweight competition since winning the interim title in November 2023. As an interim title holder, Aspinall is entitled to his undisputed shot. UFC CEO Dana White focuses the summer for a Jones-Aspinall showdown. Nevertheless, the fight can continue with Jones who retire and leave the belt.
