King Green Issues Statement
Some of the Vecht fans called on Green to retire in the aftermath of his last UFC loss.
The 38-year-old hoped to return to the win column after he was smothered in July by Paddy Pimblett on UFC 304.
During his current 1-3 run in the Octagon, Green was also malignant eliminated by Jalin Turner, who retired at the age of 29 after his shock distribution against emerging lightweight star Ignacio Bahamondes on UFC 313.
Turner's old rival is almost ten years older than him, but he refuses to run away from MMA.
“This is the game we play,” said Green in a video posted on his Instagram story.
“There are victories, there are losses, that's how it goes, you know? Shout for Ruffy, you did your thing brother. I would like to see that you are successful in your future, Obrigado, and shout at anyone who rocked with me and got through this whole thing.
“I love you all, thank you very much for supporting me through all this b ——-, we are not ready. I have the feeling that I just need a little more time to be myself back on the cage. We'll be back. “
