St-Pierre conquered Nick Diaz's Mind Games, won the trilogy against Matt Hughes and earned the love of fans around the world.

Chael Sonnen thinks Georges St-Pierre Khabib Nurmagomedov would have defeated

A matching between Georges St-Pierre and Khabib Nurmagomedov is said to have placed two of the best mixed martial artists to have once walked the face of the earth, against each other, in an almighty collision.

The fact that it never happened, still leaves some MMA enthusiasts with sleepless nights, including Chael Sonen, who is convinced that 'GSP' would have had the lead.

In an episode of Fight Back said with Jake Shields, 'The American Gangster',

“I rolled with Georges. I think Georges would have defeated him. '

The host replied: “I trained with both of them. I don't want to share my opinion, but I think that's a good gamble. “

Shields discussed his time with Nurmagomedov and added: “He is clearly really good, but Georges just has that explosion. I don't know, a heavy fight. “
