Rangers defender Leon Balogun expects Jose Mourinho to have “a few tricks in his sleeve” when they are confronted against Fenerbahce in the second stage of their Europa League Last-16-Confess.
The Ibrox side has a 3-1 lead of last week's game in Istanbul, with the winner who has confronted Roma or Real Betis in the quarterfinals of the competition.
Balogun, who came from the bank in the first half, believes that they can perform even better at home, but he also expects to get a much improved side on Thursday evening.
“I think it's not over yet,” he told Sky Sports News. “It was really a good result, a very good performance.
“But it is Mourinho. I am sure he will have a few tricks in his sleeve. I am sure he would not have been happy at all after the draw there.
“But I think there is a lot of confidence for us to take from the previous performance and I think we can probably drive our game a bit in terms of the ball.”
Rangers have come across at home in recent weeks and have lost their last three games, but Balogun still believes that the Ibrox will be the key, because they want to make up for a gloomy season in the interior.
“The situation in your own country is the way it is. There is no way to cover it, it's bad,” the defender added.
“That is why it is even more fun to let a game like Fenerbahce stand up now, with the opportunity to continue to the next round.
“The Ibrox factor is always huge for us, especially in those games.
“I think that brought us through many games. Leipzig, Dortmund – I will never forget those games all my life, they were incredible.
“If we perform well, we feed each other, the fans feed us, we feed them with them and that creates a fairly intimidating environment.
“We can be sure that we will go to play, only based on the result that we achieved there last week.
“But again, we have to look at this game that almost thinks we start again to make sure we really see it.”
