Only a few days after he became the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Magomed Ankalaev is already records about the social media of the UFC.
On UFC 313 on Saturday the light heavyweight title of Alex Pereira came to an end after he was closely defeated by Magomed Ankalaev.
Although Ankalaev received criticism prior to the fight to claim that he would surpass the former Kickbokkkampioen, he would transfer to Pereira in five rounds.
And with that the performance of the Brazilian was questioned by UFC commentator, Joe Rogan, who labeled the performance of Pereira as 'uncharcteristic'.

'Patan' was undoubtedly the biggest active star of the UFC and therefore his loss was not taken properly by some fans.
Although a large majority of the fan base is not so enthusiastic about the style of the Russian fighting style, Ankalaev's victory over Pereira actually did record numbers for the UFC on social media.

Magomed Ankalaev already in Negotiations for Rematch
After the event, Dana claimed that an immediate rematch between Ankalaev and Pereira will probably happen, considering how close the fight was.
And with White's comments Pereira promised to his fans that he will make 'some adjustments' in the rematch to ensure that he is recovering his title of 205LB.
Before the 32-year-old Russian even has the chance to enjoy his enormous victory, Ankalaev has revealed that he is already negotiating with the promotion for the Rematch.
