Costly loophole means Jadon Sancho could be BACK at Man Utd next season

Jadon Sancho could return to Manchester United next season – despite the fact that Chelsea has the obligation to buy the attacker.

The United-Vleugel player, 24, is currently on a seasonal loan at Stamford Bridge.

Sancho came to the blues last summer after he fell out of grace in the northwest.

The former £ 73 million men made 26 performances for Chelsea this period and scored 2 goals.

Sancho recently stated that he was “pleased” to be in the club and “felt at home”.

But the former Dortmund-Flop was called by the co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe of United during his explosive interview earlier this week.

The loan agreement from Chelsea with United includes an obligation to buy Sancho if they end up 14th or higher in the Premier League.

According to the mail, the final reimbursement will be between £ 22 million and £ 25 million, depending on the final competition position of Chelsea.

But the outlet claims that the blues can still go back from the deal and send Sancho back to United, where he still has 18 months left for his £ 250k-per-week contract.

The ex-Man Stadsster has “still to agree on personal conditions” with the blues.

If Chelsea would go back from the purchase clause, they would be an “important fine”.

Chelsea could still continue with the transfer and then sell Sancho to another club.

Or they can decide to send him back to United and to get up the financial fine.

Ratcliffe complained United “spend too much” to talent during his tell-all interview with the BBC.

He revealed that the club will still pay £ 17 million more to Dortmund for Sancho this summer.

Sancho arrived in large fanfare in 2021, but did not realize the hype at Old Trafford.

Ineos Chief Ratcliffe said to the BBC: “Some [players] Are not good enough and some are probably paid too much.

“But for us to form the team for which we are fully responsible and responsible will take time.

“We have this period of transformation where we will go from the past to the future.

“There are some great players in the team as we know, the captain is a fantastic football player.”
