Sancho’s MU future takes huge twist as hidden Chelsea transfer clause emerges

Chelsea still has the opportunity to refuse to turn Jadon Sancho from Van Manchester United into a permanent deal.

The wing player concluded an exit from Old Trafford last summer, agreed with a deal where the side of Enzo Maresca ends on the 14th or higher in the Premier League, they will pay a fee of £ 22-25 million to the Red Devils. Chelsea is contrary to Champions League football and a dive in the late season in the bottom half seems unlikely, with the West London Club 15 points free from United, which currently takes 14th place.

However, it is said that a Maas would be present in the agreement in the agreement that would enable Chelsea to avert the deal. The blues could choose to pay a 'significant fine' if they did not want to continue with a transfer for the 24-year-old, the mail reports.

An extra complicating factor can be the conditions of each contract that has been agreed with the player. Sancho has to take another deal at Stamford Bridge, despite his stay in the club that probably looked like from the start.

The former wing player of Borussia Dortmund has been a Premier League -rule under Maresca, but has only offered one assist in the last 13 performances in the division. The ex-Bundesliga star found three assists in his first three games for the blues and has since provided two goals.

Nevertheless, Sancho seems happy in the club and claimed to feel at home at Stamford Bridge. After the victory over Leicester, he said: “I am really happy that I am here and play football at Chelsea. Maresca makes us feel at home. It is not easy for players to say that. We have grown into one large family.”

Speaking earlier this season, Maresca praised some Sancho in the side since he had arrived from Old Trafford. The Italian was pleasantly surprised by what the international of England had delivered.

“He is doing very well for me,” said Maresca. “I am quite surprised with Jadon, because I already knew Jadon [from seeing him at his previous clubs] And I know what I expected from him, but in terms of being consistent, he is doing very well.

“Apart from a short part of the season when he had some problems when he was sick, he was very good for the rest.

“I expected that he would do well, but for all players who are doing well for a long period is not easy, and he is doing well for a long period. He is doing well, now he just has to keep going that way.”
