Bruno Fernandes says that trust is building in Manchester United, but knows that they will only be measured on results after they have gone to the last eight of the Europa League.
The only hope of United on Silverwerk this season is in the second competition of UEFA, in which they hit Real Sociedad 4-1 on Thursday at Old Trafford to achieve a 5-2 total victory.
Fernandes scored a hat trick in the second legs, including two goals from the penalty spot, before Diogo Dalot sealed their passage to the quarterfinals, where Lyon is lurking.
“This club is going to win completely. We have to win games,” United's captain told TNT Sports.
“We still have a long way to go, but we are convinced that if we concentrate on every game that lies in front of us and have the right mentality, we can win games.
“With the result and the performance, when you start to become more confident, trust is a big thing in football.
“We make very good progress, but the progress will be seen when we get results. This club is all about results.”

Mikel Oyarzabal, who opened himself out of the penalty spot in the first stage, opened the score with another Spot kick early in the return meeting after Matthijs de Ligt was assessed to have polluted the captain of La Real.
United was leveled only six minutes later after Rasmus Hojlund was felled after the smart offload of Fernandes, and the Portugal International made no mistake from the place.
“It was clear that it was good for us. We respond quickly,” said Fernandes, who scored most of the Europa League fines in history (10).
“A penalty is a bit of bad luck, but then we get our punishment with a great ball from Casemiro.”
Fernandes repeated the 12 -meter trick in the second half after Patrick Dorgu was felled before he shot in the far corner after the driving run of Alejandro Garnaacho to seal his hat trick.
That moved Fernandes on 41 targets for competition (24 goals, 17 assists), the most in the history of the Europa League.
Hojlund then sucked on Dalot's late strike, so that the growing pressure on the outdoor form United Striker, which has struggled for the purpose of Ruben Amorim, facilitates.
“He is a striker, strikers are all about goals,” Fernandes said about his teammate. “For us, in the dressing room, we want Rasmus to score as much as possible if he can.
“When the first comes, he starts to score more and more.”
United is now unbeaten in 16 Europa League -Knock -outdoor competitions in Old Trafford (W11 D5), which last loses in March 2012 against Athletic Bilbao.
