Former sports coach for Sports Academy: 'He reminds me of Saka'
In November, Sky Sports spoke exclusively with Fabio Roque, a former sports coach of the Sporty Academy who had worked closely with Quenda. He made light comparisons with Bukayo Saka from Arsenal, but also believes that Quenda is a unique profile.
“Geo is so demanding with himself at the defensive moments,” said Roque.
“To close, to recover quickly, to win the defensive duels for his teammates. It reminds me of Bukayo Saka at the start of his career when he played as a full-back.
“There is only one geovany quenda [though]. He is different from any other player I have trained. He can create a stamp on football that is completely different.
“We're talking about, with Lamine Yamal and Estevao Willian [set to join Chelsea in the summer of 2025]Probably the best players born in that generation in 2007. “
