UFC Vegas 104 faces late changes as fight canceled alongside multiple weight misses

After a monumental UFC 313 event last Saturday, the promotion returns this weekend to the Apex in Vegas for UFC Vegas 104.

In the main event, middle weights, Roman Dolidze and Marvin Vettori clash for the second time while the Georgian grappler wants to take revenge for his loss of 2023 for 'the Italian dream'.

In anticipation of their Rematch, Dolidze revealed what he has learned the most about Vettori, who touched the toughness of the Italian, stating that he wants to be the first to finish him.

Fortunately, 'The Caucasian' and the former medium -sized challenger of the middleweight have successfully weighed weight, making the main event officially.

Three hunters miss weight for UFC Vegas 104

Despite the most important event hunters who held their end of the bargain, there were a few weight missions on the Undercard, which led to some potential late changes.

In the Co-Main event, Chidi Njokuani will collide with Brazilian Wildman, Elizeu Zaleski. In his last outing, 'Chidi Bang' scored a decision victory on Jared Gordon.

Njokuani was emphasized as a potential competition in the middleweight division after scoring an insane Ko in his UFC debut, but some disappointing losses saw him go to 170 pounds.

Prior to his third fight on Welterweight, Njokuani came in heavily, with a weight of 172.25 pounds. He will now lose a percentage of his bag.

Bantam weight prospect, Josias Musasa was planned to make his debut against Carlos Vera. 'The Ko Wizard' initially missed the weight at 136.5 pounds, but after a second attempt, he successfully hit 136 pounds.

Another debutant who missed weight was Diyar Nurgozhay. Fans begged UFC boss, Dana White to cut him after missing the weight with 4.5 pounds. Nevertheless, Nurgozhay stays on the map and 25% of his wallet will be forfeited to his opponent, Brendson Ribeiro.

UFC Vegas 104 loses a fight only one day before the event

On Thursday evening the promotion announced that the planned lightweight fight between Evan Elder and Marquel Mederos was eliminated due to an injury on the side of Mederos.

As a result, Elder is again planned to start Austin Hubbard on the Fight Night of the UFC in Mexico City on March 29.

Mederos, on the other hand, still has to be booked.
