Kylian Mbappe scored twice to help Real Madrid come back from behind to beat Villarreal 2-1 and to move the top of the LaLala classification on Saturday.
The side of Carlo Ancelotti was held last season on an exciting 4-4 draw in their visit to Estadio de la Ceramica, and they were again amazed when the home team opened the score after just seven minutes.
The corner of Alex Baena reached Juan Foyth after a deflection of Aurelien Tchouameni and the Argentina International returned home to bring the score to Villarreal on 1-0.
Real Madrid, however, equalized 10 minutes later when Mbappe scored a rebound after the first attempt by Brahim Diaz was stopped by goalkeeper Diego Conde.
The French International found his second of the match six minutes later, persistent to Lucas Vazquez's through Ball and Slot home to score what the winner turned out to be for the visitors.
